Scripture

Grabbing my connectors


There are only a few things John can 'play' on his own and this is one of them. To have such delight with occupational therapy is an exception. John is just grabbing his connectors, something he has to also teach his fingers. He can hold one at any given time but holding on to a handful can be challenging. Personally I like it when he's having fun like this; it takes the boredom and monotony out of  his rehab. The reason I'm speaking in Bahasa is because I'm filling in on kakak what John is doing, she can play along and make it fun if she can understand the scenario.

It's true that there's a lot for John to relearn but if one sees learning as part and parcel of growing or even living then it's not so 'sad'. After John's accident, I too needed to learn how to trust God, not just in my mind but in my will and my soul.
