Scripture

I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 41:18-20

'Mr.Forgetful'

John loves being read to. I've often read to him short stories often wandering whether he likes the stories or he just like flipping pages. However the first time I read to him 'Mr.Forgetful' from the Mr.Men series he laughed out loud; that just thrilled me. Here we are sharing the 'funny' part; hope you'll enjoy being read to as well.

Play ball !

John's not able to kick or throw a ball on his own but as you see he has manage to play ball in his own way. Going after the ball and playing with it was something is somthing new. 6 months ago he would just hit the ball once and be side track with something else. This shows an improvement in his awareness and attention span. You'll see and hear him shuffling across the floor; he still needs to be taught to lift his feet up more. He's still very much a right handed person as he's only able to hit the ball in one direction and with only one hand.
We're obviously thankful he's playing; knowing that there's so much more to do we pray for strength to work with him and patience to see miracles unfold before our eyes.
