Scripture

I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 41:18-20

Happy Birthday John.

15th sept was john's birthday. We celebrated it with a choc cheese cake baked by aunty choon heah. As you can see here john has problem with oral motor skill ( associated with speech); he can blow a whistle but he can't blow a candle. I put a tube in his mouth hoping he'll blow into it. He's done it before but not today!

Speeding on my bike.

This was a surprise for Simon as it's the 1st time he saw john cycling on his own. (we've been training 'secretly'!). He stops in between cos his footing go out of place and we have to help him adjust his foot. The person cheering him on is kakak Suyati. He's not about to go round the neighbourhood but he has progress since 2 months ago! How we wish his recovery will speed up; but just as God gives speed to lightning, He also gives speed to the snail therefore we'll trust he's at best speed cos God knows best.
