Scripture

I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Picking out Colours

John is picking one out of three main colours ie red, yellow, blue and green. He's doing exceptionally well this round cos his eyes seem to be in tip top condition. He's got cortical vision impairment (CVI) and there are days he misses out on what's in front of him. To me this video shows that John recognises his colours when he can see them. He also seem to be able to do this better than sorting colours.

There are many things we teach John both physical and cognitive but I also spend time reading devotional material and imparting biblical truths to him. To me it's important for him to know he has an Almighty God, who loves him and looks out for him.
"See how much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called His children" (1 John 3:1)
