Oh hello. Sign in Blogspot.com Scripture I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it. Doing puzzle on my own
Last Friday 28.9.2012 was the 4th anniversary of John's near drown accident. It's a bitter sweet journey with family, friends and the church praying for us. I recall the wandering of the Israelites in the desert where they tested God saying 'Is the Lord among us or not?' (Exodus 17:7). When we turn on the switch and there's no light; we don't loose faith in electricity. When it's a rainy, cloudy day; we don't doubt the existence of the sun. In times like this we can only look to the cross remembering that God so loved the world that He gave His only beggotten Son . . .(John 3:16). He knew what He was doing then, He knows what he's doing now. We only need to trust. In Matt 11:29-30 Jesus says "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden light." |
