Scripture

I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 41:18-20

My 1st sunglasses

We've been wanting John to wear sunglasses to protect his eyes for sometime now but we didn't get it cos he didn't seem to want it. Then one day as aunty Dawn and John were passing by a spectacle shop she asked him if he was interested in having one. If he was then he'll have to ask mom. Mom was a little behind. When I arrived, I casually asked what he wanted, he made some grunts and walked into the shop. We asked the salesman to find some suitable ones. John sat there patiently trying on various sunglasses, looking into the mirror and had it adjusted to fit him. Sometimes when a child is not speaking, you wonder if he's got a preference. It's just good to see John this way when we gave him an opportunity to decide he did. The other times he didn't want it, now he does! On the first day he even  wore it in the house.
