Scripture

I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 41:18-20

Swimming on wheels

We're in SPICES and John's swimming around. He's strengthening his upper body, arms and hands. I need to press down his hands so that he can move forword. Strange but it would seem that his brain has not quite 'map' out the connection of his arm and hands. It's hard work and he seems reluctant at times but when I explain it will help him to recover; he'll just do it! "Not giving up" is something John 'taught' me when we were playing badminton together. I'd say he was a good teacher.
