Oh hello. Sign in Blogspot.com Scripture I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it. Posting (Pt.2)
Hi, Happy New Year everybody! We've been busy towards the end of the year with Christmas and all; so that's why I didn't post up one at the end of december. This was taken the week before christmas. Aunty choon heah who was on holiday came over and work with him. (Yeah she's a 'slave driver'). We've been working on his hands and eyes so that they can function better. Here we use brown colour tiles that are smaller and he has to search it out to drop in cup thus increasing the difficulty level. We do this almost daily so at times we need to motivate him with a tasty snack as you'll see. Like all kids he doesn't like 'homework' either! Most people have a christmas wish list and ours was naturally for john to be well again. For him to be independant, have a purposeful life and to love God and to know he's loved. But as I started to pray for my 2 girls, I realise I'm basically asking for the same things. Things have change so drastically for john and us but at the core of things; God is still the same and his promises remain the same. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jer. 29:11) Labels: Occupational Therapy |
