Oh hello. Sign in Blogspot.com Scripture I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it. Happy 13th Birthday John!
We celebrated John's 13th birthday with a chocolate cotton cheesecake last week. It's also about the same time as his near drown episode. He near drowned on 28.9.08. It's a time when my emotions is little chaotic. We're so happy to have John 'back from the dead'; to be able to hug him, talk to him, laugh with him are priceless to us. And yet helping him to acquire living skills seem so far off for us.
How we wish God would heal him instantly thereby putting aside our fears for the future. However like every Christian, we live by faith. Faith in a God who loves us so much as to die for us. Surely we can trust Him to guide us in this rocky, uncomfortable path we're traveling on. To believe that John's near drown is in his sovereign plan for his life as well as ours is painful as well as comforting. Painful cos there's a sense of helplessness but comforting cos we believe in the Almighty God; and it's better to let Him lead the way than for us to stumble all over and miss eternal life.
