Oh hello. Sign in Blogspot.com Scripture I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it. Co-ordinating my arms
John progress in the swimming pool is mainly attributed to his almost daily arm co-ordination exercise. When we started doing this a bit more he manage to stop the excessive unco-ordinated movement of his arm and started moving forward when he swims. If you can recognise the equipment, it's the cycle that the 3 aunties use to help him to start paddling a year ago ( refer 29th April 2009 blog). When we see progress we can't help but give thanks to God for His mercy towards John and us. I've always thought of myself as a fairly patient person; but after john's accident I've got to constantly remind myself to be patient and let God work out His will in John's life. God's not only working in John's life; He's working in my life too! Labels: Physiotherapy

John is doing a sprint on his exercise bike. This time he's doing without any help from us except to encourage and cheer him on. He goes about 6 km on the bike nearly everyday. We see his co-ordination improving when he comes down the stairs too. He can now alternate his feet with some assistance.
We also notice an improvement in his eye sight; when he used the escalator last year he just hop on with someone holding and guiding him however at the begining of this year he was rather hesitant to hop on escalator going downwards ( i think the reason being that he can see better and he got scared of the height!). Now he's enjoying the escalator again! Today is glorious Easter Sunday; where the sadness of Good Friday has been over taken by the mystery of the empty tomb. A mystery that has the the world divided; but for those who believe in the resurrection of Jesus; A Blessed Easter! Labels: Physiotherapy |
