Scripture

I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools water and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the ceder and the acacia, the myrthle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

John just got a new toy; it's a 'horse'. This is his latest exercise machine which is suppose to work on his trunk muscle and balancing. It will help him walk better.
It's just past 1 year after the accident (happened on 28/09/08). We've been having mixed feelings; happy that john's with us, walking & laughing but sad cos he's nowhere near the 10 year old boy before the accident. At this point it would seem he's unlikely to go back to mainstream school. Many people say that after 1 year; progress happens slowly and only marginally. However we believe God is able and willing to help us. God's plan for john may be different but it is nevertheless important. As parents we'll continue to educate him to our best ability so that he can discover God's will for his life. In Eph 2:10 it says 'For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has prepared in advance for us to do.' We don't know how much he'll be able to do or how much we're able to help.
I will do what I can
I am only one;
but still I am one.
I cannot do everything,
but I can still do something.
Therefore, I will not refuse
to do the something
that I can do.
Thanks for your concern and prayers they are much appreciated.
